Fergus R. Fitzgerald founded Fibertech in January 1996 to supply new, innovative products to the industrial, DIY, and maintenance markets. Fergus has extensive business experience over a thirty-year period having worked both in Ireland and in the United States of America. He is responsible for identifying and bringing to the marketplace several new and creative products for which he has filed and been granted patent on in numerous countries throughout the world.
During his business career, Fergus has been fortunate to have travelled extensively all over the world and has a proven track record in identifying both the need for new products and their target markets.

Joe Dolan ACCA
Joe Dolan is the company accountant and has responsibility for ensuring the smooth running of the group’s records, tax liabilities and ensuring that we comply with all our legal requirements under the law of the land. Joe has also successfully put in place a fully integrated accounting system, which incorporates business-to-business functionality.

Colm O’ Hagan B.Comm, FCA
Colm O’ Hagan is Senior Partner of O’ Hagan & Co., auditors to Fibertech.
O’ Hagan & Co. enjoy the enviable reputation of being highly respected and sought after by many for their expertise in their field. THey also represent both national and international clients in many areas of industry and other types of business.

M. Kevin McGivern
Group Engineering Manager
Kevin is responsible for the entire engineering requirements of the Group with specific responsibility for evaluating the health and safety requirements for the company, ensuring that all operations undertaken by the company comply with the latest rules and regulations as required under the law. He also ensures that work carried out by Fibertech Engineering Services Ltd. is in compliance with the obligations of the company under its ISO9002 certification.

Des McGivern
Operations Director
Des is in charge of the daily operations undertaken by the company, controlling all staff involved in both installations and remedial work, while ensuring the smooth running of our ‘Risk Assessment’ and ‘Water Management’ divisions. Des is also a director of Fibertech Engineering Services ltd. and is an invaluable member of the management team.

Sharon McGill
Financial Controller and General Office Manager
Sharon is responsible for the day to day control of all aspects of the business carried out by Fibertech Engineering Services Ltd. at their headquarters in Glasgow. This includes managing the entire office and financial controls necessary for the successful operation of a very busy division. She reports directly to the Managing Director and Group Chairman while taking a very active role in running the company as part of a fully integrated management team. Sharon is also a director of Fibertech Engineering Services Ltd. and has been with the company since 1998.
